The Fox and the Crow
Once a hungry fox was wandering about in a jungle. Suddenly he saw a crow sitting in a tree. The crow had a piece of cheese in his beak. The fox wanted to get that piece of cheese. He sat under the tree and said, "What a pretty bird you are! Your voice must also be very sweet. Do sing me a song, please,". The crow was greatly pleased to hear his praise. he began to caw with pride. But as he did so, his piece of cheese fell down. The cunning for picked it up and ran away saying, thank your, Mr. Crow. for giving me the piece of cheese.
Moral:
(i) Beware of flatterers.
(ii) Don't trust flatterers.
